Analysis of Mold Import and Export in China74
Issuing time:2019-05-24 00:00 Since the beginning of the 21st century, in line with the changes of downstream industry demand at home and abroad, China's mould industry has gradually completed business transformation and industrial upgrading. According to statistics, at present, there are about 30,000 enterprises engaged in mould technology research and development in our country. In 2015, the total sales volume of mould in China is about 171.8 billion yuan (excluding selfproduced and nonirculated moulds, the same below), and the output value of selfused moulds in enterprises is about 40 billion yuan. The total sales amount is about 180 billion yuan. From 2013 to 2015, the annual compound growth rate of total sales of die and mould in China reached 6.1%. With the pull of domestic demand and the costeffective advantage of Chinese mould in international mould purchasing, the market demand at home and abroad continues to grow, and the industry is developing steadily. It is expected that China's mould industry will continue to grow considerably in the future. The overall technological level of die and mould manufacturing in China has made great progress. Some products have approached or reached the international level. Chinese die and mould occupies an increasingly important position in the international procurement pattern. According to the statistics of China Die and Mould Industry Association, the compound annual growth rate of China's die exports exceeded 20% for the first time in 2010, and the cumulative export of die and mould reached 16.1 billion US dollars; from 2015 to 2016, the cumulative export of die and mould reached 11.5 billion US dollars. Our country has become the world's largest manufacturing and trading country of mould. In 2016, China's total import and export of moulds amounted to 6.793 billion US dollars, of which 2.030 billion US dollars were imported and 4.799 billion US dollars were exported. In 2017, China's total import and export of moulds amounted to $7.542 billion, an increase of 11.02% over the previous year, of which the total import amounted to $2.051 billion, an increase of 2.43% over the previous year, and the total export amounted to $549 million, an increase of 14.62% over the previous year. Our country's mould has entered the international market, and the export volume has reached more than 30% of the annual output. From the perspective of supply and demand structure of mould products in China, the output of middle and lowend products is larger, and the gap of precision mould for highend products, especially for important parts, is larger, which needs to be imported from abroad. China's die and mould industry needs continuous technological innovation to achieve industrial upgrading. |
